Mempersiapkan generasi yang siap menghadapi zaman akhir, dan siap sedia menyambut kedatangan Tuhan Yesus Kristus yang kedua kalinya.

Menyampaikan kabar baik kepada orang sengsara, merawat orang yang remuk hati, memberitakan pembebasan kepada orang tawanan, orang yang terkurung kelepasan dari penjara, dan menghibur orang berkabung.

Puji Tuhan. Saudara bersama kami sekarang.

Tidak kebetulan saudara bersama kami saat ini. Tidak ada yang terjadi di luar pengetahuan Tuhan. Kami percaya Tuhan menghendaki saudara mengalami perubahan terhadap hidup dan kehidupan saudara. Tuhan ingin saudara mengenal Dia dengan benar, dan segala usaha dan upaya yang saudara lakukan selama ini tidak menjadi sia-sia karena pemahaman yang keliru dari maksud Firman Tuhan yang sesungguhnya. Tuhan tidak menghendaki saudara kecewa karena saudara merasa bahwa saudara telah berjalan pada kebenaran selama ini pada hal tidak demikian.

Mohon maaf bahwa kami tidak bermaksud mengkhotbai saudara. Kami tidak bermaksud bahwa kami lebih baik atau lebih pintar dari saudara. Kami hanya ingin berbagi dengan saudara tentang kebenaran yang kami peroleh dari Tuhan. Kami ingin memenuhi kerinduan saudara untuk memperoleh keutuhan hidup bersama Tuhan Yesus Kristus. Kami rindu untuk hidup bersama-sama dengan saudara sesuai dengan kehendak Yesus Kristus seperti yang Ia janjikan dalam Firman-Nya. Mari bertumbuh bersama di dalam kasih Tuhan Yesus Kristus.

THE SALT OF THE EARTH
Matthew 5:13

Salt is not new thing in in our life anymore. Salt has been known for thousands of years in human civilization. But when Jesus said to His followers , "You are the salt of the earth." Are we as His followers truly understand the meaning of world salt Jesus meant? This ...
may be somewhat difficult to be understood by many people because Jesus used the metaphor. However, to understand the metaphors that we should know in advance about the real salt.


Salt obtained from seawater . Phoenicians reputedly gained a lot of salt by evaporating water in the Mediterranean Sea fishing ponds . The Hebrews have abundant supplies of salt in the Dead Sea (Zep 2:9) . Nowadays , people used salt as a seasoning and preservative . As seasoning salt gives flavor and aroma. Salt into preservative by cleaning and slowing the deterioration of the food. Salt proved ability in terms of as a seasoning and preservative. Salt also proved the strength and toughness to destroy a very hard metal such as steel once . And at the time of the Priesthood, salt mixed with their meal offering ( Leviticus 2:13) .

 "You are the salt of the earth." It is the first sentence the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:13. Jesus first spoke once to the disciples and followers, and now everyone who is reading His Words and receive Him as Savior means he is the appropriate word of the salt of the earth. We need to know that Jesus did not say that we " be the salt of the earth", but he said that " we are the salt of the earth". Everyone who accepts Jesus as his Savior, automatically he is " the salt of the earth", unless she changed into fresh flavor.

 The question now is what we characterize as the salt of the earth? What should we do as salt of the earth? The answer is in accordance with the functions and benefits of the salt as a seasoning and as a preservative, cleaners, and as a medicine. Salt, which is stored in the closet means that salt is not helpful. Maybe it was the same with salt is wasted. The salt should be mixed with food to create the flavor and aroma. Salt should seep into the meat or fish to preserve it.

Salt of the earth which the Lord Jesus is saying that we should be able to teach its relevance , showing its relevance, and turned its relevance in our lives every move. Being salt of the earth is not simply proclaim the message through the pulpit alone, or mingle with fellow believers. Indeed, the church is where Christians gathered to worship. The Church is not a search for personal pleasure, satisfy the desires of the flesh, looking for a position by force even though he did not really appropriate competence and grace of God. He was in the service of the flesh because snobby. But more than that, the church should be able to prepare and equip his people to be the salt as Jesus desired. Even Jesus advised us that we always have salt in ourselves (Mark 9:50). As the salt of the earth, we should be able to make a breakthrough to penetrate cultures, races, religions, and nations infiltrate and mingle with people who want salted, preserved, alias saved. Son of God who made the breakthrough are those that have been equipped with the competencies, talents, and gifts with God's help and guidance of the Holy Spirit to win souls for the Lord.

Everyone who claims to be a child of God means being ready to be the salt of the earth. He has the benefit or useful and influential to the environment where it is located . If not, then that which is feared by Jesus so He says in the next sentence in ( Matthew 5:13 ) , " If the salt has lost its saltiness, whether he be restored? There is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot . " It was horrible , isn’t it? From the passage can be understood that all of us Christians must be able to prove that he is the salt of the earth, which performs the function of salt to make a breakthrough to penetrate the various layers of cultures , races, religions , and nations in order to save them for the Lord , or will be wasted and trampled because people have become calloused alias does not work or is not useful , or do not have the influence to win souls for the Lord .
